The “MNSEC 2026” cybersecurity conference, traditionally organized annually by MNCERT/CC, was successfully held for the 13th time on September 24 at the Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar Hotel. The event brought together more than 500 cybersecurity professionals, engineers, technology leaders, decision-makers, and representatives of domestic and international organizations.
At this year's conference, held under the theme “Security Beyond Human Scale,” local and international industry experts shared practical experiences, research, and new technological solutions on topics such as cybersecurity in the AI era, emerging trends in cyberattacks targeting Mongolia, Threat Intelligence, Exposure Management, DNS Security, and Web and API Protection.
We Participated Alongside Leading Cybersecurity Companies
Vertexmon LLC participated in MNSEC 2026 alongside Check Point Software Technologies as the Golden Sponsor, and Infoblox and Radware as Silver Sponsors, introducing next-generation technologies and solutions designed to protect organizations against modern cyber risks.
During the event, participants visited the booths and had the opportunity to meet directly with specialists in network security, AI Network Firewall, DNS Security, Web and API Protection, DDoS Protection, and cyber risk management, as well as receive information and consultations regarding their organizations' needs and challenges.

Representatives from Check Point and Vertexmon Delivered Presentations Highlighting New Cybersecurity Technologies and Solutions on the Main Stage of MNSEC 2026
Henry Yang, Security Consultant at Check Point, delivered a presentation titled “Check Point Exposure Management – Turning Intelligence into Remediation,” explaining how organizations can go beyond simply identifying cyber risks by prioritizing them based on actual threats and rapidly translating those insights into protective measures.

Today, organizations use a wide range of security systems, including vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR, and Threat Intelligence, generating enormous volumes of information and security alerts. However, determining which risks can realistically be exploited in an attack and which issues need to be addressed first remains one of the major challenges for security teams.
Check Point Exposure Management focuses on evaluating these risks in the context of an organization's actual environment, threat intelligence, and attack scenarios, prioritizing the highest-risk exposures, and enabling organizations to quickly move toward the necessary security measures.

In addition, Ts. Baasanjargal, CTO of Vertexmon LLC, delivered a presentation titled “The AI Network Firewall,” discussing the new types of cyber risks emerging as organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence, as well as the new security requirements for protecting AI environments.
Check Point's industry-first AI Network Firewall extends traditional network security into AI environments, enabling organizations to detect employees' use of Generative AI, monitor prompts and file transfers, protect AI applications against risks such as prompt injection and data leakage, and control autonomous AI agents and MCP access.

On the 2nd Stage of MNSEC 2026, two presentations focused on Infoblox and Radware solutions, introducing technologies for stopping cyberattacks at an early stage and protecting organizations' Web and API environments.
Infoblox: Preemptively Stopping Threats at the DNS Level
B. Tuvshinjargal, Solution Manager at Vertexmon LLC, delivered a presentation titled “Infoblox: Threat Defense – Preemptive Approach to Threat Detection,” introducing a proactive security approach that focuses on identifying and stopping threats at the earliest possible stage rather than responding only after a cyberattack has already begun.
Infoblox Threat Defense uses DNS traffic analysis, predictive threat intelligence, and machine learning-based analytics to identify attacker infrastructure, suspicious domains, and malicious activities at an early stage.
By stopping threats at the DNS level, certain types of attacks can be blocked before they reach firewalls, EDR, and other security systems, helping reduce the number of alerts and the workload placed on subsequent layers of security.

Radware: Protecting Web and API Environments
D. Badrakh, Senior Engineer at Vertexmon LLC, delivered a presentation titled “Radware WAAP – Web Application and API Protection,” discussing the cyber risks facing modern Web applications and API environments, as well as the technologies used to protect against them. This topic was included in the 2nd Stage program.
As organizations' business services become increasingly dependent on Web applications, APIs, and cloud environments, these systems are becoming primary targets for attackers. Web application vulnerabilities, bot traffic, API abuse, and automated attacks can pose direct risks to organizational data and the continuous operation of systems.
Radware WAAP is a solution designed to protect Web Application and API environments against various types of attacks, detect abnormal activities, analyze application traffic, and automate security processes.

Vertexmon Continues to Bring New Cybersecurity Technologies to Mongolian Organizations
